This is one of the most famous hotels in Asia as well as being just about the most expensive hotel in Bangkok. They will remember your name, what you like to eat for brekfast. The Oriental is looking more modern and less classic.

There is just nothing I can say against this hotel - it is absolutely fabulous. We only stayed here for 1 night and we regret not staying longer. It is the best hotel my we have ever stayed in. From the moment you step out of the car the service is faultless. They seem to know your next move without being intrusive. The room was spectacular. The view of the river was amazing. We had the chance to try out their morning buffet on the terrace by the river. The setting was perfect. Very relaxed and food was great. They also have a boat shuttle service to and from the sky train which is very handy.\nFrom now on i think we'll always stay there when we go to Bangkok. Nightlife Tip : There's a hotel called \"lebua at State Tower\" in walking distance from oriental hotel and its sky bar (68th floor) offers breathtaking views of Bangkok and its Chao Phraya river.
